Bulldog Snags New ‘Miraculous’ Licensees

Maad Toys, Rubie’s and Gemma International have signed on to extend the animated series in the region.

Bulldog Licensing has tapped a trio of licensees to create new merchandise inspired by the animated superhero series “Miraculous” for the U.K. market.

New partners for the series’ licensing program include Maad Toys for color-in backpacks, shoulder bags, handbags and purses; Rubie’s Costume Co. for dress-up items; and Gemma International for greeting cards, gift packaging and partyware.

Additionally, the new licensees will join other partners in the program, including Aykroyds/TDP for nightware and underwear; Whitehouse Leisure for amusement plush; and Dreamtex for bedding and homewares, among many others.

“‘Miraculous’ is a truly beautiful show with engaging storylines that tap into the superhero phenomenon,” says Rob Corney, group managing director, Bulldog Licensing. “This is reflected in a rapidly growing licensing program that I’m sure we will be adding to again very soon.”

New pre-school toy deals secured by Fluid World.

Sanrio is continuing to add new toy partners to the Mr. Men & Little Miss UK licensing programme - with RMS and MAAD Toys being the latest partners to come on board after striking deals with Fluid World.

MAAD will be producing a creative play range which will initially include a ‘Scribble-me‘ plush, ‘Colour-Me-In’ bags and pencil cases and a magnetic drawing board. RMS, meanwhile, will manufacture products including dough and colouring sets, glow in the dark jewellery making sets, gardening kits, creative felt shapes and bubble rockets.

In addition to this, RMS will also create a range of floor puzzles which complements Paul Lamond’s existing line.

These deals add to TY’s plush collection, will appeal to both girls and boys and feature key Mr. Men and Little Miss characters.

Ryan Farber, group managing director at RMS, commented: “This is an exciting partnership for RMS and we are looking forward to working with the Mr Men brand on many successful ventures in the near future. This is a huge recognised brand which will add excellent value to our existing portfolio.”
